Are tires covered under warranty?

Post by vibe-04 »

I woke up this morning and backed out of the garage and had a feeling something wasn't right. Put it into first and drove 5 feet and yep, somethings wrong. Stopped and my driver's side rear was flat. So I parked it and took the truck (having a backup vehicle priceless).I can't see a nail and there is no sidewall puncture marks. I'm not sure of the valve stem. I don't think it was a slow leak cause I would have noticed. I've got about 10,000 KM on the Contis and just want to know anyones experience with having the tire covered under warranty?Andrew

Tires are NEVER covered under warranty unless they clearly fail for a defect in manufacturing, or if you pay for road hazard protection.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

I had the same problem with my Goodyears....one would loose air...no pucture or anything....- changed out the valve stem with a new one andthe problem went away...
