Without a picture I can't say for sure, but if they're what I think they are I think they go in the undercarriage to fill the holes used for tie-down points during shipping.

Hi everybody ,I read abt this and immediately went and checked my vibe (though i had got it on 29th Dec. some how i didnt get to read abt this = me a dumbo ) Anyhow i took a print out of the service thing from GM tech link and also the PDI details of 2003 and went to my dealer .Initially when i didnt show him the print out but just mentioned abt the "rubber plugs " being missing and he had no idea and then he says that they shouldn't be plugged as they are meant for draining water .So i showed him the print-outs and then he looked it up from underneath and looked up the part department and finally agreed that they were missing and put an order for it ,and gave the excuse that since the dealership had got the MODEL i have from another dealership ,the PDI was screwed up by the previous dealer .I didnt argue coz anyways they ordered the plugs in (it will take 2 weeks) But i am not at all happy with this service .When you deliver a vehicle it is the dealer from whom i am getting ; their responsibility regarding the PDI . Anyhow I am SO GLAD that i read abt this in the forum .Thanks GENVIBE .I dont know how i missed this part (plugs) coz i go thru each and every posting .Is there anything else i need to check ?I know it is already 9 months since i got the vibe BUT then never too late .Thanks to all the members .I would be so LOST without this GREAT site .

they are located in the undercarage frame about 6 inches in front of the rear wheels , if you bend on ur knees and look underneath the rear door towards the rear wheel ;you will them ,it is hard to miss it .They are oval in shape and about 2 inches in length and about less than an inch in width .

Thanks I saw that photo but wasn't sure where to look. I'll check tomorrow when it's light out.I was looking inside the rear wheel wells and noticed that one side has a plastic covering and the other side doesn't. Almost looks like it's missing on one side. Anybody have these and know if they are supposed to be on both sides ?
