Well, I saw the first TV ads for the new Mercedes R-Class sport wagon. Reminds me more of the Mazda 3 than the Vibe, but it's obvious that the sport wagon niche is now finding some legitimacy.Here's their website on it (it'll pop up a new window as well)http://www.mbusa.com/microsite/r-class/index.jspThe R350 base price is $48,775; the R500 is $56,275. The R350 has a V6 rated at 268hp/258 ft-lbs. torque. The R500 has a V8 rated at 302 hp. Wowsers...Just took another look at the specs...damn, this thing is bigger than the Pacifica! Sure doesn't look that big in the ads. But, everything looks smaller on TV...
