Tire wear

Post by dev »

I have only 15000 miiles on the vibe and the front tires are already in need of replacing. This is way too soon even on factory continental tires. So before I invest in more tires I had the 4 wheel alignment done. Should get better gas milage also. The shop said the alignment was off. So just because a car is like new, dose not mean the alignment is perfect. Watch your tires.

Are you sure the shop properly aligned it?Factory specs do call for the alignment to be slightly "off" from dead center...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

same thing happened to me.from what i understand, some shops will not waste their money on a 'pre-sale alignment' and then make money off GM when somebody brings in the car after it has been driven off the lot and returned due to poor alignment....calling it a warranty issue.can this be true?
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!
