Still 5 more spots remain. Don't be like "Msmyer" and "Big Red" and miss out on all the fun this year. Because it is hockey and you never know if it will be back next year.

Nope, I want a full compliment of people before I will draft the teams. We need at least 3 more and 5 more would be even better. I will announce both on here and in the team board when I will draft.

Only a few more weeks to go before the season starts, and there are still plenty more spots left open. I will give it four or five more days then I will open it up to the public. So if anybody has any family members or friends who would like to play have them sign up. This goes for all of you lurkers too!!

LOL I know what you mean, in another league I accidentally wasted a 4th round draft pick on Marian Hossa's brother Marcel. It had been a while and I thought Marian must have been hurt two years ago because i found him in the rankings around 500 or so. And he was just listed as M. Hossa for Montreal. Needless to say he sucks, and after a few choice words he was promptly dropped.

I just noticed this is a head to head league. I'm used to Rotisserie so I'll have to read up on the ins and outs.

H2H are pretty much a week long Roto league. You build up stats in a particular area and whoever has the most/least in that stat gets one win/loss/tie. And you go up against one other team in the league every week. Your record is what places you in the league.Roto leagues are fun, but if you have a crappy team you can fall off fast and be down an insurmountable lead in no time flat. In a H2H you start over fresh every week and you have the chance to beat your opponent any given night. Slightly more competitive, and people are less likely to stop playing halfway through the season. I might try a points league next year just to be different.

OK people, last chance for Hockey. When I get back from the game in Ohio on Sunday I will be putting the team out into the public to fill the remaining spots. We still need at least 1 more to make it even, or three more to get it completely full. I expect the league to fill up a day or two after that, so we are probably looking at late next week for the draft.

If we get our teams on Thursday morning, the undrafted players should not clear waivers until probably Sunday morning. So that will give you the weekend to decide who you want to add or drop. Then it is a free for all after that.

That actually sounds like fun!!!Set your payscale so you get the maximum amount of money from your John's without them getting angry. And try to steal as much money as you can from your Pimp for your night classes at the Community college without getting beatup. Yahoo should totally do it. Much more fun than fantasy golf or Nascar.

Never seen that before. Keep trying to log in, Yahoo often has problems with their server especially around this time of year with all of the sports going on.

Here's what I tried:Sign up --> Join Existing Custom or Public League --> Join Custom League --> enter league ID: 35664, password: vibe --> result: "There was a problem:• The league is not in pre-draft mode. (Error #209) "????

Yeah....That because our league drafted like two weeks ago. It is too late for you to get in now unfortunately. Sorry, I should have known that was the problem, but I thought you were in the league already and couldn't log on. We will keep a spot open for you next season.

OK people listen up. There might be a situation brewing in the league. Somebody has made mention that there may be three teams that are controlled by one person. I have looked at some things and I think that they maybe correct. Molson Gold, Spastic Overload, and Pure Evil appear to have magically all signed in within only a few minutes apart, and two of the user-names look similar. At this point in time I don't think there is anything that can be done about this. I did have the option of kicking out managers, but that went away after the league drafted. I can lock managers from being able to make moves and trades, but they have not done anything wrong up to this point and this is purely speculation on my part. So I will not do that. Nor will I comment on this on the league board publically until shady things begin to happen. Because nothing makes fantasy sports become not fun more than everybody arguing and throwing wild unfounded accusations around. Right now the best thing that we can ALL do is watch the transactions that are being processed and alert me to anything suspicious. I may miss some things. Also veto any trades that look bad, or favoring one of the above teams too much. It will take three managers, I believe, to vote against the trade before the trade will be vetoed. So look at the players stats and the teams rosters closely.I will email Yahoo about this, but I doubt that they will be able to do anything about the situation. A person, to my knowledge, can not use the same user-name to create two teams in one league. Even though it is frowned upon, because of obvious reasons, a person can create two different teams in one league if they use a different user-name. I imagine it is very hard if not impossible for Yahoo to police that action.I will keep people posted as new developments happen. Try not to let this bring anybody down because nothing has happened yet. But I do want to nip this in the bud before anything jeopardizes the league.
