Annoying seatbelt tone

Post by FLABSLAB »

Ok, first of all I DO NOT ADVOCATE NOT WEARING A SEATBELT. Trust me, wear it. However, if you are like me and HATE that annoying seatbelt warning tone, here's a link to try. I have a 2005 base, and it took me about 3 minutes in the parking lot at work to turn the thing off. Don't know if it works on the other years or not.http://matrixowners.com/forums....htmlAgain, this isn't so you don't have to wear your seatbelt. Please wear it for the ones you love.

Thanks Flab, this has actually been made a "sticky" in the tech info & do it yourself forum.

No problem. I don't think there are too many "repost" Nazzis here. There have been a few people asking about this lately so having it posted a few times might mean someone will see it. I know myself I tend to miss those "stickies" up there sometimes. The "search" function can sometimes be helpful as well in finding what you need. Good luck, enjoy your stay and post pics of your Vibe if you can.

MO has historically had worse up-time reliability than genvibe, and also has a history of deleting content and changing URLs. Not trying to knock the other site, but if you really want to make sure that genvibers have reliable access to the info, then you should reference the source but copy the information here.
