I took the Vibe in for the first oil change, and was offered a solo test drive in the spanky new G6 GTP coupe. It moves along nicely, but I only had it out for about 10 minutes, I never even had a chance to get it into 6th.It had only 9km on it, but it did see redline, the salesman specifically mandated that I redline it, since he hadn't been out in it yet.He did comment on the lack of exhaust growl, in his words "WIMPY".The rear seats fold down, but there's no release from the inside, not even with a key. With the plastic cover:Cover removed: Good luck getting to those rear plugs.

why does gm put the spark plugs in the worst places? my 97 grand am had 3 of the 6 in the back of the engine, was the biggest pain in the (removed) to work on. they might as well just kept the G6 called the Grand Am
Those dont really look that hard to get to, as compared to other gm cars.

what no external pics? GO BACK THERE!Well removing the oil cap to remove the engine cover has been a trait of GM for a while. Grand Prix and several other older models all had oil cap filler tubes that extended up higher from the engine with the cap on top. Was easier to fill that way to and not at all hard to remove. It also doubles as a retainer for the engine cover.Yeah... try changing plugs on a montana engine.... you need a mirror.

Really, how many times a year do you think that will inconvience you, let alone the average person?
