just got burnout revenge, its more complicated than 3 but i think after a bit of playing you can get used to it and use it for your advantageoh and it has awesome graphics
I'm liking it a lot. I did end up with the PS2 version though, so I could play with some work people. Unfortunately I'm having router issues. When connecting to EA's matching server everything is fine, but once the game starts it becomes a peer to peer connection, and for some reason the game doesn't like my Motorola router. Despite opening all the necessary ports and assigning my PS2 a static IP and enabling NAT DMZ, I still can't get in any games.

hmmm, can you play anyother games on ps2 online? ive always had a router to play socom 1,2, moh etc. all online on the ps2 no problem with putting my ps2 on static or in a dmz. i would just leave the default setting on the router and then have my ps2 get a dhcp auto. you could try to see if you can play online with kai just to test it with some game. try setting up the ps2 again with the ps2 network adapter cd and testing it with that.
I have a PS2, Game Cube, and Gameboy Advance. Yeah, I need to upgrade! Thinking about getting an Xbox to keep up with the times.I've just been so busy lately that I hardly have time to play them anymore.

It's not that at all...it's that sometimes things get posted that are really only of concern to the other person. It has nothing to do with being a couple, I can promise you that. I have definitely seen it take place among other people, on other boards more so than here, and I guess the reason I decided to say something this time is because I do see it happening a lot here lately.I wasn't offended, just making a comment. Some things are just better left IMed IMHO. (And if anyone is wondering whether or not I "practice what I preach" so to speak, my IM file on this site with CP takes about 5 seconds to load on my 4 megabit cable connection, so it is rather large. )And lately, I've been feeling a lot just reading threads like this as if I'm butting in on something that's private between two people and something that's none of my business. Yet it's out here on the board in public, but when I read it I feel like I'm eavesdropping. That's why I said something...it's not a couple thing at all.
Nobody's going to leave. There have been a few conversations occurring lately that really should be kept private. I'm not singling any person or group of people out here. This is just a general notice to maybe be a bit more discreet about some items. That's all I'm going to say on the subject and now this thread will continue, but back on topic. If anyone has any questions or comments, please IM or email me.

Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for.
I use Bulls Eye when playing online or lan party shooters... I seem to be the target by all so might as well name me that way. No point in having a fearsome name when you suck eggs anyway

The new burn out...im having mixed feelings, the crash i dont like any more, but the racing is a lot more fun than 3. crash just seems so flipping hard and no more floating icons thats what made it fun was the quickness and having a goal, now its just...confusing were is a good place to crash and the boot thing at the start sucks so bad..ARRGGGG

I could probably still admin a server from RCON if I had a few minutes to remember it all.A crowd of people I never met in person all became really good friends playing MOHAA. After a while ten of us all chipped in an leased a co-located server for our own. It was great for a year - we competed on ladder competitions and such ... like everything else though we all got busy, and moved on. But we all still keep in touch... people from Canada, Chicago, Florida, Indiana... it was a blast.Ahh, good times.
