I haqve had similar problems in older cars that did not have the electronic speedometer, where the rotating cable connecting the transmission to the speedometer was sticky, and it would bind/release/bind/release, making a lot of clicking sounds, but since you have a Vibe, or is it a Voltz, that can't be the problem on your car.If it is a right hand drive Voltz, then the dashboard should be a mirror image of a Vibe, I don't think there is any potential click sources in a Voltz that would be over on the paseenger side in a Vibe.I haven't tried it, but the instrument cluster is not that difficult to remove. You could unplug the wiring connector from the instrument cluster and then drive it up to a speed where you hear the sound, and if the sound is not there, then either the problem is inside the instrument cluster, or is something that you fixed when reaching around to unplug the connector. If the sound is still there, then you know it's not a problem in the cluster. You could also remove the cluster from the dashboard altogether, that might make it easier to identify the source of the sound. I have never tried this, so I could be wrong, but I think that the car will still run normally with the instrument cluster unplugged.Has it always made this sound, or is this something that recently started happening? There are some people who have had a rattle at their instrument cluster. vibeowner has a web page that talks about fixing dashboard rattles and some other useful info at
http://vibeowner.home.comcast.net/Is the click sound constant or just sometimes, a steady series of clicks, or a couple of clicks, some amont of time, some more clicks? I am not sure what relay might be clicking in there, or if it is a rattle of some sort.
