Hotchkis Springs

Post by DavidPIL »

Hello there,I have read several posts here where the Hotchkis springs actually lower the Vibe much further than the rated amount. I see where the fronts should drop 1.5" and the rear 1.1 but some have reported a nearly 2" drop front and rear.I'm not a really into dropping my Vibe that far so my question is... is it possible that the people with springs that lowered nearly 2" might be the Corolla springs instead of the Vibe's? Since the suspension is basically the same, is it possible that some places cross-reference the Corolla for the Vibe Springs?Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.Dave

hotckiss is a good drop not too low.my old prgress springs were rated at 2 but dropped way lower. i think eibach has the least drop but id reccomend hotckiss. i and many others here love mine. theres different part numbers but matrix rollas vibes al get shipped the same springs. at least thats what i was told when my instructions were for a rolla.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!

Hiya.. and thanks for the reply...See, GSC Motorsports lists the Vibe Springs as 19402-hot and the Corolla Springs as 19403-hot. The drop with the Corolla springs is a bit greater than the Vibe's. I had assumed that they would use the same Springs but the difference makes me wonder if maybe some who had a much greater drop than expected might have gotten the 19403-hot instead of the 19402-hot. I dunno, it just made me wonder.Dave
