Help choose a new poll for the Front Page!

NEW POLL RECOMMENDATIONSWe're diligently working on uploading some new and fresh content to the main home page of GenVibe.com (a long time coming ).The current poll (Which color would you choose?) is outdated and we would like some recommendations on a new poll to post on the main page.Please let us know what you feel would be a good poll topic.

I think a good one would be "How Did You Find Genvibe?" It would help us know how we are doing on recruiting new members. Not to sure what all the options you could put, but i think it would be decent.

How about a poll on the latest addition to the Vibe....the supercharger. Who is willing to spend $3000+ on a supercharger which will not even equal the same amount of hp of a GT if you install it to a base.Another question (and please don't shoot me for this), would be whether or not GM and Toyota (again) should introduce an Automatic version of the GT rather than just a Manual trasmission.Regardless what the question will be, the one thing you should do is set it up in such a way that members can only vote once. On the Matrix/Vibe.net site they ask what your preference is Matrix or Vibe....and you can vote on it as much as you want as long as your cookies are deleted and you cache is clean from you last visit.

My suggestion would be to use a poll that the average Vibe owner would be likely to care about. I'm guessing that I'm in the majority of Vibe owners and minority of genvibe members who aren't really into modifying their car with a lot of the things that get talked about in the forums. The forums are great though, but I wonder how many first time genvibe visitors actually find them or know that's where the real gold is on this site How many Vibe owners are running around with the AC misadjusted because they didn't find the adjustment thread? Not cutting on the other content, but I like the forums best. Part of what I like about genvibe is the experience expertise, and perspective each member brings. Don't know if there's a particular poll that could be used to help people find the forums and motivate them to join or not, but if there was, that would get my vote. (if that matters)

I agree with you on this one (as I'm not into "mods" either). When I first came here I voted in the colour poll long before I ever signed up. The colour poll is great because you don't have to know anything about the mechanics of the Vibe in order to vote, whereas you may have to have some mechanical knowledge to vote in a poll about modifications.

I like AtWork's idea. Couple weeks ago I brought home 3 (vibe) loads of sod that was 2.5" x 5' each. I was able to put 25 pcs. (rolled up) in one load. The guy at the nursery couldn't believe it...

Here's a question. Would you trust a Toyota dealer to do a simple oil change on your Vibe? (Keep in mind that most of them haven't realized that there is a Toyota engine in the Vibe (at least not in some of the GTA dealerships).

I don't know if you have made your decision or not, but I was thinking that a poll idea could be the color of Vibe we all drive.Something like:What color is your Vibe:1. Abyss2. Satellite3. Envy4. Neptuneetc.That way we could all see what the favorite Vibe color is out there.Just a thought.

I know there are a lot of unofficial polls out there about everyone's age... why not make one on the front page where EVERYONE can see it. use like 10 year increments... Or depending on how many options you want, you could use 5 year increments to be more exact.For Exampleunder 2122-3031-4041-5051+

I am going off of the first couple of post in this thread about what other GM vehicle would you buy. I think for the summer what the Vibe would look good next to would be the Pontiac Solstice.It will not let me post a picture.

How about:"What attracted you to the Vibe?"- Pontiac styling backed by Toyota reliability- Color- Affordability- Gas-friendliness- Saw one on the road or at a dealership- Amount of storage/cargo spaceSomething that highlights the positive features of the Vibe so that when someone who is in the market for a vehicle can look at the site and this list and go "wow, that's a really versatile vehicle!" and with hopes might make them consider getting a Vibe!Well that's my $0.02!
