which star shall be the new tat?

well, i doubt the opinions i see will sway my decision, but here goes:i have a spot on my arm that is pretty small that is in need of filling in between other tats. i don't really care for stars as tattoos, but it's all i can really think of that would sort of go with my clown motif. the area is too small for anything of detail, so i have to stay simple. star it is.here are 2 i created here at work:#1

I've been toying with the idea of getting one, but I'm so not a tattoo kind of girl. I want a little tiny green shamrock with a celtic knot incorporated into it somehow. But so far I've been too chicken. My boyfriend just got one a few weeks ago and it really didn't turn out at ALL like he wanted it to, and of course now he's stuck with it, so that has made me a little nervous. FTR Drunken, I like #1 better, as far as stars go. Definitely #1.

I say #1 looks better. Get it maybe in green with a black outline? I think that would look good.I've got one tattoo so far. It's on my back, on the upper right hand corner of it. It is of a heart with a butterfly sort of overlapping the upper part of the heart. It is in color and cost $60. It was originally priced at $80, but we told the artist that it was my first one and it was a present and he knocked off $20!It was a Christmas present from my ex-fiance. The heart symbolized the love between us and the butterfly is just there because I like butterflies!Be careful with what you get. You don't want to regret it later on!When I got it, it hurt like HELL!! Pretty much because it was over a bony area so it hurt a lot more.I am thinking of getting one more... but not sure if I want to go through the pain again!

That's where I'm at right now....I know it's going to hurt. AND, if I decide I don't want it in a few days, it's not like I can return it--I need to be DAMN sure I want it because I'll have it forever. So I'm stuck. Can't decide.

My daughter (22 on Monday) has a couple of small tattoos, very tasteful and feminine, (not quite like mine - LOL)Definitely check out a few different shops if you are going to get one, and talk to people that have them.MOST shops are NOT like the guys on Miami Ink on TLC.I would say that 98% of the people you see with tattoos will be very approachable (take a wild guess at who the other 2% are), if you want to ask a question about them.People love to talk about their tattoos.

i've got a couple myself-- one, two personally, unless they're the nautical stars, the only kind that appeals to my aesthetics are the little solid ones often speckled throughout rockabilly/rat rod style tats. i could see the first one working though if the colors fit with your other pieces.

the only way i'd ever get a tat is if it truely signified an event in my life...for example: there's a good change i'm heading to Argentina for a business trip soon. If i go between January and April, I will be able to take a day trip to Antarctica!! SO, i'll bring my GPS and record the southern most co-ordinates and then have them tattooed to my left (removed) cheek. Then one day i'll try and get up to Alert or as close as possible and get those co-ordinates tattooed to my right (removed) cheek! that's the plan, at least.
