if he had hit the back of that truck on the left side, he might have lived... simple reason is the frame of the trailer is two thick solid steel pieces stretching from the front all the way to the back. Not only did the guy hit his head on the back door of the truck, but imagine hitting a guard rail thats chest height... he probably impaled himself on that to as it sliced right down the driver's side of the car. Had he been on the left however, it would have sliced through the passanger side instead... removing only the roof. As you can see from the first pic, the passanger side of the car looks to be in ok shape. That guy was found most likely in pieces mashed into the trunk...

That's what you get when you're dumb enough to haul (removed) down the shoulder. I really hate that when I'm stuck in traffic on the fwy and dumbass cheaters are driving down the shoulder.

those vettes with the red exterior tend to have brown leather material inside... it looks like the driver's seat to me...and yeah the only damage to the back trailer is to the ladder under the doors.

Besides, I never felt frightened on the road as I did in Massachusettes. Not that they can't drive, but they don't look back when they back up. Was almost hit twice at a rest stop parking lot.

Hey...I wonder if there is a Corvette website somewhere that has a picture of a decapitated Vibe driver? And if there is, would the posters be as cruel as this site's? I know nobody intends to be cruel, but think of the victims family.I drove wreckers for several years and have seen many of these horrific scenes, I can not even imagine why anyone would want a picture of it.

Firemen take alot of these pictures. I know alot of firemen and at least one guy in every house has photo albums of fires and crashes and other things. I even knew one of them that showed me the "firehouse ****" album. His name for it not mine. Basically it is pictures of girls in lingerie at the fire house.

My thoughts are this...I do not think this person killed anyone else, innocent people. This person may have been drunk but either way, they drove recklessly... They could have killed you or me. I would feel really bad for the family members if an innocent person were killed by this person who chose to drive reckless and fast. I do not have a lot of sympathy for this persons family, a little but not a lot. I would be really mad if this person took a family member of mine out. I also do not have sympathy for drunk drivers that die or people who do not wear their seat-belt and die. They chose to drive like that. This pic was forwarded to me and was found on a GTO site. If anything it shows what not to do in a high performance vehicle...

Man I feel really sorry for that man's (or maybe woman's?) family...I would really hate to find out someone I loved died that way... by driving waaay too fast and being careless. That is really sad and gross... the blood spattered on the truck and limbs showing... his/her body is probably in a million pieces. Ok ok I'll stop now.All I have to say is, be careful out there! Granted, our Vibes in reality don't go THAT fast, but it doesn't mean something like that can't happen to you!
