If you could pick the color of your Vibe...

Post by Jaycie685 »

So I am sitting here at work being all bored so I figured I'd think up a topic that hasn't been thought up yet. If you could pick the color of your Vibe (it can be a new color or the ones the Vibes already come in) what would it be?If this topic has already been brought up, I greatly apologize! I'll go first:I think maybe a pearl blue would look nice!

The new color for 2006 might be kind of a pearl blue ? Check out this thread for pics. They are in the first post. I think the color is called Stealth.Hmmm maybe a sort of chameleon paint for me. Something that changes color with different lights. Anybody here have a custom paint job on their Vibe ?

Chameleon is nice. Which one would you go with? The green/orange one or the green/purple one? Those are the only two chameleon ones I've seen so far on cars. Haven't seen any other color combinations.

Well, if I was gonna get a vibe again I was talking to a paint shop about having a custom chameleon paint made that went from black to green to go with the other idea's i had layed out. Pending on what car I get I may still do it.

It's not blue. It's a charcoal gray that somewhat changes color depending on your angle. It's called Stealth Gray Metallic in other model lines:

I'm thinking maybe a canary yellow. With tinted windows and some nice wheels it would look pretty sweet.

I ordered my Vibe in white specifically to act as a good undercoat for a screaming bright yellow re-paint. Unfortunately, after getting a price for a top grade job ($3,500, including extra work for the two-tone trim) it was me doing the screaming....

Even though I DESPISE the color silver, there is a paint called Silbreeze, that is the color change (chromatic?) type that seems to be quite popular. There is a 69 Camaro in the BF Goodrich ads, and was profiled in HOT ROD magazine a couple of years ago. It looks pretty slick (for a silver car anyway).

Other than that, maybe if I were to go full hog and beast it up completely (body kit and all that), maybe something wild like Plum Crazy (purple).Or Hugger Orange.

I would like a two tone Vibe. But not like the cladding two tone. I would like the bottom half to the windows or just below to be Rootbeer color. The top half to be Cream Soda color. With a racing stipe down the passenger side (one thick stripe and one thin stipe) in the color of the foam head of Rootbeer. That would look interesting.

For starters I would want BETTER paint and a thicker/higher quality clearcoat... after that I would have to say I would want my Vibe in either metallic green or the aformention chameleon, maybe an orange to dark blue.

I always wanted that kinda sea foamy green. I'm on my third car, and none have been offered in a sea foamy green. But, since more and more paint is coming off, and mnore and more scratches are appearing, perhaps I will paint it a nice sea foamy green soon.....hjwii05 Neptune, mono

Whatever color grows back and regenerates like "the wolverine"? So all these primer spots will dissapear once again under a sea of neptune.

I pick Platinum...but... I haven't seen the new available "Stealth" color in person. I always liked the Silver or Golden colors as they dont show the dirt as quickly as the dark colors (although, there is nothing quite as sharp as a "SHINY BLACk" vehicle....but they are a ***** to keep shiny and clean.

That is like a sea foam. It is really nice. That may be the color your looking for. Also, I saw a gold Nissan Morano and thought the Vibe would look great in that color.
