factory rear speakers

Is it normal for the factory rear speakers to have so much more bass than the front speakers?03 Vibe GT

It would appear so... They're a bit larger than the front, and from what I can tell, they have more mounting depth in the rear doors... So I'm assuming that acoustically, the rear doors are more favorable for developing heavier bass...
