I can count on one hand the number of vibes i'v seen in the last 2 years in the area and they were all driven by 80 year old ladies..none fixed up. Sucks not having any more around but its also nice having a car that a lot of people haven't seen when i enter in local ar shows.
04 Fusion Orange Base Vibe auto Now no longer with us thanks to ignorant drivers...
I'm not in SW MO, but my Vibe is from the Reliable BIG LOT in Spfld. I had only seen one here in Central MO before we bought ours, but they're everywhere I look now.My Vibe is a 2003 GT with no mods. I'd like to do something to spiff it up a bit--maybe some striping. Right now it's a very plain basic white, which doesn't go with its personality at all!I'd love to go to a meet to admire everyone else's mods and get some inspiration for some of my own....
my father-in-law is in sw missouri he has a white base vibe.I will never buy or go to Reliable Chevrolet (BIG LOT) AGAIN! VERY VERY PUSHY SALES PPL! A few years ago my wife and i were returning from a visit with my in-laws and stopped to look for a new car for my wife and had just started to browse. We left that dealer after being bullied to far!!
I hear you re the uber-pushy folks at Reliable in Springfield. I know of other sales they've lost through their annoying sales tactics, and they almost lost their sale to me. I'm glad I bought my Vibe, but I chose it in spite of the salespeople and not because of them! The car made the sale.
We must be careful not to LITERALLY run into each other, Squrl--the paint might just shatter completely off! (The paint is the only complaint I have with my excellent little car.)I'd love to see somebody organize a meet in Springfield, but I don't imagine Reliable will after we've bad-mouthed their overbearing sales staff. (Ssshhh, don't tell 'em!)I try to get back to Springfield every two or three months for Mexican Villa--it's an addiction!
Well I am now in Springfield MO. Lucky Me I realize this post is old, but I am just now here. I think I have the only "fancy" vibe down here, either you are a redneck driving a 69 Joe Dirt Jalopy in primer or you are an old lady with purple hair in a two tone stock vibe. Not a lot of nice vibes around here from what Ive seen.
