Cedar Point

Post by scherry2 »

Took the family (all 3 of us) to Cedar Point in Ohio this last Friday and was it fun my son (12) went on quite a few rides. he loved the Raptor. 1st time on an inverted Big rollercoaster. But going on...We road the Wicked Twister and it goes like 70 MPH in 4 to 6 seconds What a rush. 3 2 1 instant on, thru magnetics, no hill.it was around 60 ft straight ahead then straight up, then in backwards and up total ride was 40+ sec seemed like forever. I watched the Top Fuel Dragster and that ride is INSANE!!! 125 MPH then you go straight up over an arch then zooming back down... it was cool to watch but I'm to old for that. my wife who loves coasters said she would even have to think about that ride.http://www.cedarpoint.com/publ...2.cfmh ... bl...x.cfm

The Top Fuel Dragster looks like a lot of fun! I'd ride that one a few times.

i do have to say that the one thing i miss about michigan (no offense to the michiganders here, midland is just not a fun place to be a teenager) is being close enough to cedar point to make it a day trip. i keep telling myself i'm going to make the drive up from texas one of these springs, but gas prices keep telling me i'm wrong.
