that job of king has some definite perks to it.but in a high AIDS area, it does tend to set a bad example of having a large number of concurrent sexual partners. This story of the african king who asserts his kingship with lots of wives reminded me of the african king who asserted his kingship by collecting thrones. Turned the who upper floor of his grass hut into a throne room, and one day the weight of all the collected thrones was too much and they crashed through to the bottom floor and killed the king. People who live in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones.

Apparently as they say... it's good to be king.What can you say about it? Here's a supposed leader who's only making nominal gestures of leading his people, but is really just using his position to satisfy his own desires.The people seem to largely back him, and it doesn't appear to be a particularly repressive regime or anything.Just an illustration of how stupid people generally are, and an example of why Africa seems unable to pull itself out of the third world.
