We Got Our Vibe Yesterday!

Post by HawaiiVibe »

Hi everyone, just wanted to come and say hi.We got our 2005 Vibe yesterday. We didn't expect to come home with a new car so soon, but the pushy salesman forced us to We ended up getting the Platinum, automatic, power package and moons and tunes. (excuse me if I mess up any of the terminology, this is all new to me, LOL)This is my first brand new car and we LOVE it so far! I never in a million years thought I of all people would be posting on a car forum, but I am so excited about being a Vibe owner! In the end we were deciding between the Vibe and the Matrix, but we liked the styling of the Vibe and the interior seemed much nicer. We have two dogs so that was one of the main reasons for choosing this car. They tested it out today and gave it two paws up.I am going to try and attach a picture...sorry for the terrible quality but it was dark and in the Walmart parking lot. I just HAD to get a pic right away though!

Kissfan79is an active user from HIland is pretty hard to come by on the island, so I'd assume parking is under the store. Not like they can pave a couple acres of cornfield.

ALOHA and welcome to GenVibe! Nice looking Vibe you got there! Nice and shiny. You will find many helpful posts on practically any topic here! Is that the parking garage to Ala Moana Shopping Center? I spent 6 years in the Aloha state. Graduated high school there in fact. Miss it a lot and can't wait to go back for the 10 year reunion in 2008!Enjoy your stay and hope you become a regular like most of us!

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome! I know, it is weird to have a parking garage at Walmart, but it is always sooo crowded there that they need it. I think there are only 2 Walmarts on the island. And yeah, it's right next to Ala Moana. My BF is drooling over all of you who have Orange Vibes - he wanted that one sooo bad but luckily for me they only had the Platinum with the features we were looking for

Aloha,Welcome to genvibe! How many miles of major highway do you have to drive on over there?I think I would feel trapped on an island, no matter how big it is. But I live where a day drive can consist of a 400+ mile trip through lots of open country.Enjoy the ride!John
