Stupid Rattles and Squeaks Part 2

Post by tobermoryvibe »

I fixed the rattle and squeaks in the dash of our vibe. The driver side a-pillar cover was not properly clipped in and the wires behind it were rubbing on it and rattling. The other really bad rattle was the OBD2 port under the dash was not totally secure and it rattled all the time. After addressing those two, I know have a rattle free car.

That's #2 of the loose OBD-II port that I've heard of. When I was installing the under dash LED's in Kari's car, the OBD-II connector fell right out. Mine came out a time or two as well while I was under the dash messing with stuff.. Something to watch out for! Glad you've fought the rattles, and won!
