I found the perfect driving lights for my daily commute on 50 miles of dark, curvey and littered with ainimals county road. They are the new Hella DynaView driving/cornering lights. They change as you turn so it lights up the dark curves in the road. They are $399 (in Jeep essentials cat.), but that is alot cheaper than hitting a cow. Any suggestions on where and how to mount them? http://www.tirerack.com/access...m.jsp

in the lower grill cavity. good find.have you looked into smaller versions? they kinda look like the lights you see on rally cars. kinda big, naw mean???be sure to post pictures afterwards.
any idea on the dimensions of the lights themselves? i don't see it mentioned on tirerack or the hella usa site. if they're available in a size (looks to me like there's only one size right now) similar to the stock fog lights, then i'd think there'd be room somewhere along the bottom part of the front bumper. you could always get two pairs and go jeep liberty style one thing to be wary about when putting high wattage lights on plastic bumpers is heat. i know a lot of the PIAA products require at least a 1/4" clearing between the light housing and any plastic parts to avoid problems due to heat. with a painted bumper, there's also the concern about discoloration from the heat.

I'm going to give Hella a call tomorrow to find out the dimentions, thanks for the tips.EDIT; Called the US Hella distributor...they are 7" round. Hmm this may take some plastic bumper cutting.
