Just bought a 2005

Post by gdizzle »

great deals right now at the dealer. Besides their Emp disc price, $1000 cash back, and then an added surprise he gives me another $1000 cause I own a non-gm vehicle. Sweet. I got the Base model with this Mono package which gives me auto tranny, power windows etc... They had crome wheels on it and wanted $2000 more, I told them to swap em out with the standard wheels. Arm rest thing is just too low, unless you are a monkey. Hey, does anyone know if the gas struts on the glass hatchback lid are supposed to lift it all the way up, unassisted? Mine has to be pushed up. Hit me back. Oh BTW, the color is Salsa.

Welcome to the club! The armrest problem can be solved... I swapped mine with another genvibe member and I am much happier with the 03-04 armrest (just needs some padding on it). Btw, my rear liftglass does not go all the way up unassisted.

You can also order the higher armrest from Toyota (cheaper than GM). Search there's posts on the part #PS- the liftglass struts won't open it. You can hardly tell at all that mines been opened - it has to lifted manually.
