Headlamp Removal

Post by Abyss AWD »

Is there any instructions on how to take out the headlamp assembly?I installed those "eurolite" made by Toucan Industries, and it blew up, and I need to remove the residue it left behind.I did a search and nothing came up.

do you mean the housing? Like the whole headlight? if it's anything like the matrix, which I'm sure it is, there are 3 screws. you can get off the third you need to take off the bumper for. First screw, or bolt 10mm I believe, is up by the turn signal, second is down to the right, or left, of the high beam depending which one you're at. third is under the bumper on the side above the wheel well. If you take it out and clean it be careful when you put it back on cause you will need to adjust the aim of the lights.

if you need help taking the bumper off it's simple. 4 bolts underneith, 2 bolts in the wheel well, 2 screws under the hood, and 3 pins, one is obvious under tthe hood. right in the middle, but the other 2 are under the actual bumper its the same type pin as the one under the hood just feel around for them

Dead thread revival, can we please fix this link somehow? Or get a new link as I haven't been able to find the front bumper removal thread using the search engine...

The forum software updated a few years back,, renumbering threads, but not all the links got updated

Another good thread by ragingfish made less useful by him posting his pictures on an external site, then moving on and deleting his image hosting
