front strut bar and camber plate questions...

Post by Hyperactive »

Im kinda new to the performance aspect of cars, befor my vibe i had a 97' grand am that i never wanted to upgrade.First off i recently bought the hotchkis camber plate covers from tirerack.com. they came with no instructions or any bolts, has anyone else ordered these and not received the bolts or instructions. Im assuming it would be a very simple install but if someone has them installed some tips would help along with bolt sizes.I also ordered a Megan Racing strut bar and wanna make sure there is nothing special i have to do other than take off the 6 nuts, slap it on and tighten it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Megan Racing STB is just that, 6 bolts and call it a day! As for the camber plates, if all you got is the plate covers then you are in for a shock. You need the camber kit for those plate covers! They come with the Hotchkis STB which will run you about $400 or so! I know I have it!

The camber plate covers are just that..covers. You need theseAs for the strut tower brace. 6 bolts. That's it. Don;t worry about torquing them it's not really neccessary.
