Going to Las Vegas!

I'm going to Vegas next week (9/1-2)! I have never been there and haven't been out west since I was a kid. My next younger brother and I are going to be stopping in Las Vegas for a day/night while on our way to flying to Austin, TX to visit our older brother in Ft. Hood. We figured since we have to stop in Vegas for changing planes, how about we spend a day and night there. So, I'm thinking about staying at the Luxor hotel and our older brother is recommending on checking out The Blue Man Group show. We plan to just walk around and check things out. I think we are arriving Thursday late morning or around noon. Then we leave Friday early afternoon I think. Anyone have recommendations for some must see or do attractions? I'm 23 and my brother is 20, so we need the places that allow under 21. I'm not a gambler, although I may try a small amount. Thanks for any input!

I hear the new Wynn resort is mind-blowing. But with rooms starting at $335 a night, I'd say it's nice on the outside too...I've heard nothing but AMAZING feedback on BMG...never had a chance to see them myself.Cirque de Soleil is supposed to be fricken amazing as well.

Blue Man Group is awsome. The wife and I saw that when we stayed in Vegas for a coupld days back in the spring. Weather was nice and sunny. Its a very cool place as long as you keep control of your money lol. You definatly need to walk the strip at night, its amazing.

only one night, eh? well, definitely try and make the Blue Man Group and if possible, go to the RA. great night club, but you need to get there to stand in line no later than 10:30 pm. also, Mandalay Bay has a great club with a fire wall and acrobats that hang from the ceiling and twirl. first time i went to vegas was with my best friend. we had a lot of fun at the clubs.

the closest ill ever get to vegas any time soon is the damn riverboat casinos here.
