Having recently found myself unemployed here in Ohio, I've been planning to move back to my home state of Montana as soon as my house sells. Now it looks like that move may occur quicker than I had planned. I have an opportunity to become a network tech for Dynojet Research in Belgrade, MT. What a perfect chance, doing what I love for a company that makes Dynamometers! I'm sending my resume off today, wish me luck!

I feel for ya Millster!!! I beecame unexpectedly unemployed right before Christmas. I had worked for the company for 3 years, and I didn't see it coming....it sucked!!! But the economy is bad, so I guess no one is safe....The company I worked for was based in Ohio...strange coincidence.....LOL.....But remember---everything happens for a reason...I got a much better job, making more $$$$$, less hours, and doing something I love....So good luck in Montana---I hope it goes well for you...keep us posted!!!!!

I was unemployed as soon as Diemler took over Chrysler. All the motor companies started lay-offs, and working on projects with those companies, I was also let go. Take the opportunities you see and seize them. Good Luck to you.
Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for.

Thanks all! I'll definitely keep you posted. Heather,I know how that feels, I got mine just before Thanksgiving. I'd been with them for 2 years and had just been told what a wonderful job I'd done moving the company into the new building. However, I should have known the sharp new building would be my eventual undoing. I guess with their new image they didn't want to have a young guy like me running Tech Support. So, I was laid off and they brought in the CIO. Sometimes credentials help I guess. Glad to hear you landed on your feet though!Chris,We'll see what happens. At the very least I might be able to provide info on new developments.
