Looks like a Vibe with a Dodge front end. Not too shabby. If the Vibe ever takes a crap I will have one more vehicle to add to my list of possible replacements.
I've had excellent luck with Dodges in the past, so the fact that it's a Dodge is no deterrent to me. 5% + 3% better mileage than the competitors ... GM isn't pushing the Vibe as their best gas mileage car, the best mpg in a US brand, and if this thing comes out it will kick the Vibe down to the #2 spot. Something I mught check out if the Vibe gives it up on me, but nothing so special that I would go out of my way to exchange the Vibe for one of them.
Thing that scares me is the neon is one of the worst crash test results. I would never drive one it would be like asking for a death trap so idk if i would trust that thing either :/ the vibe suites me well...as with some of the pics posted lately seems the vibe holds up in wrecks well.
It looks like one of those dodge magnum hot wheels blings. Actually, I like the roof line, but that is about it. The nose looks like they compied a honda ridgeline. There are some dodge vehicles I like, but none made after '72. The magnums are o.k., I like them better than the Charger (mainly because it is a sin to use the name charger on a 4door). I work with a guy who has one and was razzing me about my vibe. I told him that's a nice STATIONWAGON you have there. He said "What do you think yours is?". My reply was "Mine is a hatchback that is not pretending to be anything else. Yours is a soccer mom mobile PRETENDING to be a performance car!" I just know tooooo many people who have had problems with dodge products. Plus, when I was a kid dodge was the car people bought when they couldnt afford a real car.

I saw one up close at DCX sand it is a Vibe. In fact they got a little made when people kept saying that. The inside (gages, seating configurations) just like a Vibe. The engine is too, VVT. The similarities were amazing! The CVT trans is my concern. GM could not do it well and Ford pulled the plug on it for the 500. Nissan has it and appears to be doing well and I hear this CVT will be made by the same trans company JATCO. I dunno though, this CVT will be the only auto trans available. Dodge better make sure it is bullet proof!

If it came with a turbo-diesel or a sweet gas engine offering (maybe the Neon SRT-4 engine?), I'd buy one. Without an interesting engine option like a turbo-diesel or a high-power gas engine, it's just another mini wagon/crossover/ute/car thing.

What option package was that "rock solid toyota powertrain" included in? Funny, I don't seem to have a Vibe equipped with that, seeing that I've had it in the shop for major mechanical problems for the last four consecutive weeks.

Dont tell me stuff like that, man you're gonna make me lose sleep tonight. My '03 Matrix XR was absolutely flawless when I traded it off last month at 45,000 on the clock. My camry had over 125k on it when I traded it in and it still ran smooth as silk. You are the first person I have heard from who has had problems with the Vibe/Matrix. What kind of problems have you had? Is it an older vibe? I sold my 2000 Grand Prix GTP because it had 5000 miles of warranty left on it and it racked up $7000.00+ worth of warranty work in the last 6 months that I owned it. Must have been a friday car

You name it, it's broke. '03 base. Not only was it made on a Friday, it fell off the truck on the way to the dealer, they picked it up, put crap back together with duct tape, then beat the dents out of it trying to make it look new for the unsuspecting moron customer. That's me. lol

Ohhhhhhhhh, grrrrreat!!!! Well hopefully they got the majority of the bugs out. My next new car purchase will probably be a G6 or a torent. But that is gonna be a while since I have the Vibe and a BMW 325i I am making payments on. Occasionally I take them through the drive thru at the bank.....so they can see their REAL owners! Guess I better hope my luck holds out. Anybody know where I can get a good deal on 25 rabbits feet and a bushell of four leafed clovers???

The car didn't begin to fall apart until after 30,000 miles. At that point, I had exceeded the mileage and/or time that you can file a lemon law claim.
