John Holmes, Dolly Parton.........Oh, you meant wheels.....I think as long as it fits in the wheelwell and doesn't scrape, but you also have to consider the roads you drive. 20s with rubber bands for tires on pothole filled roads will kill the wheels.

18x7.5s here. They look smaller cause the polished lip. There is a matrix with 20's so you can go up that big. As for potholes and rims bending, it all depends on the quality of the rim. If you buy cheaply made rims they're going to bend. Its not price it's quailty. Chrome rims are pricey, but they're only pricey cause of the chrome. Are you looking for looks or performance?

It's like that on pretty much every stock hubcap.

I have 18x8" wheels with 225/40/18 tires. I like the 18s the best on the Vibe. The 17s still look small because our cars are tall. The 19s look good, but the tire profile is a little thin for my taste. Here's a picture:

18's here too; and I prefer them over larger or smaller for the same reasons provided by Justin.

17" looks fine on my car with the 2 inch drop, 18 would be to rough a ride with the springs on these roads. I know the quality would not matter, I'd still bend them. A little tire cushion is good.

Yeah, I agree, on rough roads it is not comfortable. Luckily the roads I drive on are usually in great shape. I drove into DC a couple weeks ago and the roads are much worse in the city. Hitting all the bumps, feels like it's going to hurt the car. There were times I was driving like in a slalom, dodging the potholes LOL. If the roads you drive on are in good shape, 18's are just fine, it's a smooth ride. Hits some bumps and it gets bumpy. I also have the Tein S-tech springs and that makes a difference too, but the stock suspension with 18s does not look good.

5x100 is right, but I don't know about the offset.
