Well my wife rolled the Vibe and wrote it off yesterday. She hydroplaned in a heavy rain storm and lost control. She and my daughter are fine other than some bruises. The car did not fare so well. I'll try to post some pictures but the digital camera seems have been lost in the accident.

it sucks that the vibe was lost...but what is metal compared to flesh?...i'd give up every vehicle i've ever had just to keep my family safe...glad they're all doing fine...are you thinking about a replacement vehicle yet?...
Sorry to hear the news......glad everyone is ok... ..good choices on a replacement car........no better time to buy a Gm then now.with all the pricing they have now. .good luck.

Nice to hear everyone is safe and ok. Sorry about the car... it's replaceable. Seeing that only bruises were sustained shows the durability of the Vibe. Especially after a rollover. Good luck with what you choose to replace the Vibe with! (hopefully another Vibe!)

much like every else has said, i'm glad to hear your family walked away with just a few bumps. cars can be replaced, people can't. i'm also glad to hear that the vibe did a good job of sacrificing itself for the greater good. i hate hearing about these accidents, but it does seem to be the case that most of the folks in them come out relatively unscathed.
First, I am happy your family is alright. Nothing is more important than that.Second, I am glad about my purchase of the Vibe. After seeing and hearing about all the accidents no one was seriously hurt. It puts confidence in me knowing I will be safe if such misfortune falls upon me. My brothe just totaled his Subaru Baja the other day. He is alright. But the bigest factor in buying a car for me is saftey. An d the Vibe has proven if self. Although, in the most unfortunate of ways.
Monotone Neptune, pow pac, 17" stock rims, K&N air filter, bumper guard, custom pedels, brake light cover, billet oil cap
Wow! As everyone else here has said, I'm grateful to hear that your family is OK... that's what's important. The Vibe seems to be a relatively safe vehicle.... that's good to know.Best wishes for your family and a new car.

That thing has a 230 horse engine with a whopping 250lbft of torque......about 100more than the Vibe. They are a blast to drive.

Oh my, is that ever crappy! I'm definitely glad you guys are all ok. Lives are precious, Vibes aren't. (no matter what we may think.) Here's to a speed replacement.

So, Sunny, how many rollovers is that for the eldest and youngest Ball Boys and their spouses? One for each, total of four? [To paraphrase the song:" He ain't (just) Sunny, he's (also) my brother"]
Great that the family is OK. I bet they were really shook up. Sounds like one of those slow motion type accidents where it feels like a minute went by in only 10 sec. Gotta watch those wide wheels and tires.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
Glad to hear everyone is ok! vibes do a great job protecting drivers and riders. saved our sons life last year in his triple rollover, and i know what you mean when you say the pics look scary! I couldn't believe he walked away from his wreck. I vote for a new vibe, which we did!betcha been doing alot of hugging now! I'm interested in seeing your pics and how it compares to our old vibe.Take careJohn

Gosh...glad to hear they walked away. Sounds frightening.Unless you think the Vibe somehow contributed to the accident, I think you'd be best served getting another Vibe. At least you know how well it protects your family.
holy s*** thats a bad picture and real scary. I've hydroplaned before and that is not a good feeling when you think that your gonna loose control. its scary to see the car in front of you go off the road partically and think your gonna do the same. even if you go slow you can loose it. glad to hear all is well with your family.Hope you pick another vibe
