I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it in person - the black caps on either end pop off - but they're a beyotch to get off, and left a nice black streak on my aluminum rails.Grab them from above and squeeze to get a good grip and just pull. It's the worst cracking sound when it pops off - but they're tight. If someone else has a better way - then I'd be all ears!

Well, I just put the crossrails on. Your right, hooriable cracking sound to get them off!Infact one of them did crack the little bracket inside where the yellow plastic button goes into.NOW, I don't like the fact the the end caps DO NOT fit snug like before I took them off! (yes, I realize maybe the cracked side could be a little loose, but both sides don't fit as tight. When I took the yellow button off to put it in the cap, then install the cap, I tried to get the button to sit inside the cap using the second grove in the yellow button (thinking this might make the cap seat tighter) but I couldn't get it to fit so I used the 1st slot in the yellow button.Does anyone here work at a Pontiac boddy shop? HELP!!!
