Weathertech Vent Visors

Post by stevo2000 »

I did some shopping around and decided to go with the Weather Tech Vent Visors. They snap in and require no tape, look Great. I think that they were worth the extra $$$.

My brother has these on his Armada and says they are far better than the double sided tape ones. I've seen the double sided tape ones start coming off, with high temps.

A little over $100. I bought them at weathertech.com.

I have/had them, only the ones on the rear windows are left because they tape on. The ones on the front windows...well, the one cracked and the other flew out the window when i was driving. They are nice but the edge on the fronts cut up the weather stripping on the window because they flex and rub against it. If you gte them tape the front ones on, you'll be better off. IMHO

Maybe they've changed them in the meantime. Mine are such a tight fit, they're not going anywhere, or rubbing anything, unless they break of course.

I have a set of these now and I have to say I like them better than the stick-on ones too...they are a very tight fit and I don't think they'll be going anywhere anytime soon If they are rubbing the weather stripping then they may not be installed correctly...I know partsguy said you really have to watch that part when you're installing them, to make sure it's in the right place.
