So, do tell: where can I find a front end cover for a 2005? Two months and 8000 miles, and I have a whole colony of dings and whatnots on the front and hood...Help me.... pleeeeeeaaassseeee.........hjwii
That which may be known of God is evident within man, for God has shown it to them, so that they are without excuse.(Romans 1:19-20) What do you want most in life?
I just got a new 2005 Front End Cover (GM Part Number 12499896). I tried to install it and it doesn't seem to fit properly. Has anyone else had success installing their new Front End Cover? Thanks!

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
It's the cutouts for the grille. If I replace the screw with the snap in the top-middle of the grille, the cutouts are about 5-6 inches too high. If I hold the cutouts so they match the grille, the snap needs a hole drilled - which I'm not going to do!The dealer had sold me a 2004 Front End Cover at first, and that was definitely the wrong part. This latest one is different from the 2004 model, but still doesn't fit properly.Or, are the cutout supposed to be off?
I visited the pontiac dealer today. They checked for a 05' bra. They say it doesn't exsist yet. The part # you listed is infact for the 04'Guess I will have to wait a few months for 05' parts to come out.
I just took mine to the car wash yesterday and just after 10,000 miles my front end looks 10 years old, dinged and chipped. I don't really want to put a cover on it. I think that they look cheesy.Since I do not drive under any harsh conditions, would/could/should this type of damage be covered under warranty???
