Where to get: Map Light LED ?

Post by wuntrikpony »

I have scoured and scoured the forums and superbrightleds.com and cannot seem to find which LED bulb is the one I am looking for to replace my map light bulb(moonroof Vibe). Any ideas?-Dave

Well, I did find a few here: http://superlumination.com/otherleds.htmPer the interior bulb guide, that bulb should be an 1895 type... Scroll down to "1895 ba9s bayonet base bulb" and you should see 'em.These look to be the best I've found thus far. I've found some cheesball ones with just one single surface mount LED, like that's going to be of much use. The five led's in these angled the way they are may work out somewhat good....I know nothing about the company, so couldn't help ya there. Are you looking to replace the map light for "accent" light purposes, I take it?

Thanks guys. ColonelPanic - Ya it's just for the look. I just ordered them up!ragingfish - I saw that, I was using it as reference, but couldn't find any 1895 type bulbs on the sites I was looking on for the bulbs. I guess they just didn't offer that type, or called it something else.
