Hello again all!Ok, well I looked through ALL 18 pages of the "Audio, Electronics, Electrical" and the 3 pages of the Tech Info forums. I could not find any topics, for the parking light wire(s). I did, however, find a lot of nice topics. Never woulda guessed there was actually a panic function on my OEM keyless entry, remote. Thanks GMJAP!Now, the reason for this post. I recently installed an Aftermarkt Generation FM Alarm (AGA1101). I've skipped a few things to install, due to laziness, wanting to get the "basic" alarm system in, and no idea how to install a relay that came with it. The problem I have, that I don't want to skip and leave out, is the parking light wire. I have installed and tested the alarm's basic functions (door opening and shock sensor/valet switch), but, am at a loss as to where the parking light wire is. I've tested every wire harness in the driver's kick panel and the steering colum. When I test the wires, I ground the common, of the multitester and touch every terminal, with the positive (keeping its harness connected). I'd try this with the parking lights on and then off. I've found ONE wire that gives me a response. The response I get is not a +12v though. Actually I get a reading of +13v+up, with the lights off an ignition off as well, and then nothing, almost, when I turn the lights on.This is very frustrating as the alarm system needs to connect to a +/-12v, when the parking lights are ON, not off.I found a wiring diagram from a post here and the same one here:
