I have plenty, I kinda have this obsession of taking pics of my car. The link is in my sig, any of the albums starting with, and after the '20040714' one are after the tint job... Feel free to have a look around!35% all the way around, and a small stip of 35 at the top of the windshield, ending evenly at the bottom of the dot-matrix stuff around the mirror. I could have gone darker, but I'm more than happy with what I've got. That's been the best investment in this car so far!

How dark do you plan on having it. I think that 35% up front is way too light now. I hate the fact that it's too light for my taste. But I'll get it done again next time.Inder

I was originally thinking 35% all around. But I may go 35% front and 20% rear. I just want to be able to see out the rear at night when backing up.Brian
I got a price of $189 from a bunch of stoner's at a hole in the wall shop and a price of $200 from a very nice performance shop called "Hyper-Tek's Area 51". That's for the whole car at any tint % and color.Brian
Here is mine. I have 50% front and 35% rear. I should have done 20% all the way around and that would have been perfect. But hind sight is 20/20 I guess, and I don't want to lay down another $250 to get it redone.
yeah, urs actually looked pretty fresh though. mine is like, dark as hell in the back and light up front. should went 20% on the front 2. O well. It's coo.Inder

Quote, originally posted by hjwii »Stupid question perhaps, buuuut...Lower the %, darker the tint? ie, 5% is much darker than 35%?Thanks, hjwiiI think it has to do with how much light is allowed in so the darker the tint the less light comes in.. Really dark tint only allows 5% of light to come in. Something like that.

I just finally had my windows tinted on my Vibe. Ohio's tint law was 50% all around max until last year it was FINALLY modified to 50% max front windows (driver/pass) and ANY for the rest (excluding windshield).I opted for the legal limit on the front, 50% and 20% on the all the rears so I can still see out back decently at night. The 50% in front isn't too dark but not too bad compared to no tint at all. Enjoy the pics.
Looks like i can only go 50% for the front and 35% for rear in Wisconsin. Anyone here with that setup?? Now if there were some tint shops on this side of town... Who ever has been in charge of city development here in the greater "MADTOWN" area needs to get their heads examined!!! Guess I'll have to head over to the east side maybe elsewhere to get some quotes. So LLUMAR and 3M are the brands to look for??
zionzr2 - i think MN is 50% as well...its sorta ok looking from the pics here but not what you think of when you think "tinted" its too light. my windstar had stock tint and it was nice looking, so i wouldnt mind doing my vibe. has anyone installed their own tint, there was a online store that had precut tint for the vibe, they also make home window tint etc. ill try to find the link when i get home.
