well just got another prob with my great toyota product...i have been noticing a small viberation in the steering lately....so i just checked the passanger side tire and i noticed i can wiggle the wheel back and forth a bit...but not on drivers side.....so iam assuming it is the tie rod...anyone else have this prob before? i have 88,000 kms on her so iam a lil suprised.thougth i would be able to get alot more than that.i suppose i forgot this is not a full GM car.lol..right Panic?

well let me be the first to point out that with 88,000km on your vehicle, you have probably hit at least one pot hole along the way. So all Toyota greatness aside, the Vibe is just a vehicle that can get damaged by the conditions it is driven in. I've seen tie rods worn out on other vehicles other then GM at the same or in some cases less then that mileage. I'd go get that changed before you do any serious tire wear damage.

i was told from a buddy of mine at my work that my "inner tie rod" is starting to go...he said i still have a bit of time to get it done....but hope to get it done this week or next....no $$$ right now.lol ggrrrr i hate bills.but i hope he right on the guess.tie rods are not too expensive..so here is hoping.

just havd the garage look at it......it is the right side inner tie rod end........no aftermarket for it....grrrr.so i dont know what would be cheaper..a toyota one or from GM?

well what ever u do dont break ur vibe.........that part(inner tie rod end) is 154$CDN.....and that is discounted....holy %$#%...and that is still not payin to have it put on.....well i still wish i could pay cavy prices for parts....oh well gotta love toyota pricing.lol
