I doubt that it would have the power or the top end that you need though...

no no no..... subie will stay. but perhaps later down the road when/if we need an SUV type vehicle, a used one might suffice. Phil gets the next new car (most likely a WRX wagon).

Guess my new car has been decided for me...Or I get the Legacy and she gets an SUV cause I'm not into the bigger vehicles, I like them small or low to the ground.

yeah... STI... *drool*but your right, everything is always decided for ya lol. Though that looks kinda like a forester, I like the foresters but again... to SUVish for me to completely convince myself I could get used to driving it.

hey, there aint no kiddies around, get what you want man! (STI may be a bit pricey, but dreams are good to have) i think a WRX wagon would be a great car to have! kind of like a really fast vibe AWD, but with actual mods available.

We got a red one in the show room with gold rims package. Its sweet. But I'm undecided... don't need another wagon if she wants an SUV...

ha ha ha! didn't you see the part where i said Quote »no no no..... subie will stay. but perhaps later down the road when/if we need an SUV type vehicle, a used one might suffice. Phil gets the next new car (most likely a WRX wagon).he gets the next new car. plus i really still like my LGT. in 2 yrs i'm allowed to MOD IT! whoo hooo!!! first thing on the list will be COBB stage 2, spitting out about 320-350 hp and tq! mmmmm mmmmm good!!!! if i had that, then he could have his STI, but the issue of insurance pmts still remain the same... you'd be spending $600 for car pmt plus another $250 for the insurance! better to get the WRX and mod the hell out of it. That's why i like the LGT because it can be modded above a stock STI with a lot less cost and insurance! plus, it's a great sleeper car

she's just afraid cause the STI is 300 stock with mods that can push that bad boy well past 350 We'll see how it goes. I may be able to put down a nice good down payment plus working here gets me a deal so insurance could be the only "expensive" thing about it. But as said, we'll see. May change my mind in a few years and want something else.

Settle down guys, it's not a competition! At the end of the day, you'll both go to the same home, doesn't matter what brought you there or how long it took you to get there! er, let's talk about this Toyota again!

well she sets a rule she knows I can't meet as its impossible for me to make 60-70k my first or second year at my new job. She is to competetive to allow me to make more money then her anyway... so... But anyway back to the topic at hand about the toyota...

ya, i'd like to get a "family" car or SUV type for hauling a trailer or toys. if it can get good mileage on top?? with power??? hell ya! but that's a long way down the road. my neighbor bought a highlander earlier this summer and boy is it nice! so to have one that gets over 30 mpg? wow! i hope some of the other car makers follow suit! it's great that you can now get a 4wd/AWD Suv with good power, torque and gas mileage! kudos to Toyota!

Why, yes that wing is from one of those! I was going to add two, but I installed the hood scoop instead. (removed)! The TOYOTA is backwards for when I'm out running a rally and I'm sliding sideways on the dirt that the people in front of me can look in their mirrors and see the logo the right way so they know what I'm driving.
