The redhead that you are referring to I think is Amy Davidson off of "8 Simple Rules." Parrots are pretty cool birds, an old roommate of mine had one. It got really annoying after a while though. They are increadibly loud and it is really hard to shut them up. They pretty much mimic voices and sounds, and that one probably has learned that stuff through conditioning either by voice commands or by order. Kind of how a mouse will ring a bell to get food or a dog to do a trick for praise or food.
