antenna swap, need help

so i bought the metra on glass radio antenna (thanks raging) and want to replace the existing antenna with a GPS only antenna.For you who have tinkered with teh headliner off, what is teh best approack to keep it waterproof and halfway decent looking?my guess is find a way to run teh GPS antenna wire throuhg the nut?please see my awesomely detailed proposal, attached.

I guess it depends on the size of the hole.. And the size of the reciever. You might want to try to see if you can get one that'll cover the existing hole, and seal it up..Or leave the base of the old antenna up there and do what Mike did..

Notched a hole in the base of the stock antenna and ran a wire through it..then sealed it from inside with silicon.
