CAI for 05 Vibe

I just bought a base 05 Vibe and I want to purchase a CAI for it. But, from what I've been reading, Cosmo is the only company that makes a CAI for the 05 Vibe at the moment. I was wondering if Cosmo's CAI could fit an air-bypass valve? Also, would I need to modify the CAI in order to have it fit properly? Thanks.

modify in what way? As long as it has all the connection points, any brand should fit. Have you checked 05 Matrix possibly? My 04 Vibe has an 04 Matrix Injen CAI.

Yeah, I checked for the 05 Matrix. It's the same situation, no CAI's for either the '05 Matrix or Vibe.

I don't have any experience with 05 Vibes as they were selling them when I quit working for GM... so unfortunatly I can't say I've looked under the hood of one to even begin telling you whats different and why an 04 "may" not work.

I have already ordered a CAI from Cosmoracing and it is due to show up today. According to Cosmo, from the email they sent me, it WILL fit an 05 DBW Vibe. I am going to put it on this weekend, at least that is the plan. I will take pics of the install and post 'em of anyone wants and let you know if it does actually fit. I had ordered an Injen CAI and it DID NOT fit due to the DBW. According to rlfreese, this Cosmo should fit... guess I'll find out this weekend.
