Vibe Bra Kit

Post by 6slinger »

I bought a Bra kit for the Vibe about 6 days ago. Yesterday, I finally got some nice weather to put it on, when I noticed that according to the instructions one needs to take out a screw or that there should be a hole to put the snapscrew into. I looked, and my wife looked several times around the fenders to find this well hidden hole. Finally I called the tech help. They assured me that there was a hole for the snapscrew. I just wasn't looking in the right place. I decided to send the whole kit back to the maker of the bra and get my money back.Has anybody else had the same experience?

Could it have been one of the holes that the fender liner clips go into? Maybe replace the fender liner clip with the snap?

I have always shyed away from those, I personally don't like the look of them and I have seen what they do to a paint job. The second a little bit of dirt gets under there it will scratch the hell out of the paint. Be sure you remove the bra regularly and clean it and the paint underneath it. Just warning you. I detailed cars for years and it ALWAYS happens.
