I was reading my can of Planter's honey roasted peanuts and on the back it said "WARNING: THIS PRODUCT IS PROCESSED BY EQUIPMENT USED FOR TREE NUTS. MAY CONTAIN TREE NUTS"
Most all warning labels were put on items because someone has tried it. example: "HOT coffee" = someone sued for acutally getting HOT coffee! If stupidity was a disease, we would all be DEAD!

People who are allergic to peanuts may not be allergic to tree nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc) and people allergic to tree nuts may be able to eat peanuts. OK, back on topic.

I always thought being a diabetic was handed down from generations, not by drinking too much pop?Cuz if thats the case I should be dead by now with as much as I drink in a day.
Food warnings/contents that if not known could produce allergic reactions I can see but product warnings for things like do not pick up your lawn mower to trim bushes are ridicules! Or do not stick you hands in a moving Snow Throwers auger are just stupid. But some jack-hole has done it, lost a finger or hand and says I did not know... Oh well, too many stupid people in this world thus all the dumb product warnings!

Actually, my first thought was just the opposite. If they start putting a warning now, then I can sue because they knew of the problem for years and didn't warn me earlier. Now I'm fat and lazy and it's all Coke's fault!

I guess I was just hoping it hadn't come to that.
