how do I set the equalizer so it stays that way ?

I did do a search for this and even looked back to page 6 and didn't see anything.How do I set the equalizer so that when I change the station or turn off the Vibe it will stay with the equalizer setup I have ? I "tried" following the directions in the manual, but I must not be doing something right because when I change the station, it reverts it to "equalizer 2"thanks,bob

Mine stays the way I have it by default...all I did was hit the button and turn the knob, and it's saved it ever since...

Tune to the frequency you'd like to store, then press EQ repeatedly to select the desired EQ setting. Hold in the preset button desired until you hear the beep. Each time you go to that frequency, either using the preset *or* tuning manually, it will switch to the desired EQ.If you want to change the equalizer settings themselves:Hit tone to adjust the treble/mids/bass accordingly. Press and hold EQ, then you should see 'SELECT EQ.' Release EQ. Turn the select knob (or press and release the eq button) to toggle between eq's 1-5. Press and hold EQ until you see 'EQ SAVED.'There ya go!

As said, your presets store equalizer settings too. If you set your radio stations and THEN adjusted your EQ, the radio will revert to the original EQ whenever you use a preset button. Set your EQ, THEN save your presets.

right now there is a post on page 5 http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=16240 which I found with search, but it didn't help that the topic title has equalizer spelled as equilizer

ahhh, thanks for the information. I do appreciate the info.I guess I overlooked that post because it would have given me the idea that when you set a preset station, it save what equalizer setting you have and that would have clued me in. thanks all,bob
