well, since i have to work so much out of my car, i converted the passenger seat into a mobile office. it consists of a mobile execudesk with full skid top and pull out desk, file holder and a 400 watt dual outlet inverter. of course i had to make some modifications of my own and added another 150 watt inverter inside, 7 port usb hub, gps receiver, jumpdrive, and wireless keyboard and gyration mouse. nice thing is the mouse can move in the air and not just on a surface.
Just keep that stuff away from the dash when driving... Otherwise the air bag over there could inflict injury due to laptop shrapnel. Looks cool though...

well the pull out desk is in the way of the shifter, so i can really only use it when the car is parked. so far, it's working pretty well. i've had to do a few minor adjustments here and there to figure out the best way to place it in the seat so i can still see my side mirror.
So does that whole set up just "stay" in the car?If I left something like that sitting in my car around here the next mod would be a new passenger side window! LOL! I wanna move to where you live!

LOL! I wanna move to where you live!during the weekdays, it's pretty much there minus the laptop that i bring into the house with me. i don't worry too much about theft, i do have tinted windows to help keep the visibility down, but this is Alaska afterall...i have an extra set of keys however that i lock the car with when the battery is low so i can leave the car "on" to help charge it between appointments. i have my GPS system set up, but unfortunately with the mountains, they sometimes disrupt the signal so i don't get one. oh well.... still comes in pretty handy!
