TP Poll #2: What brand?

Post by Kari »

While we're discussing which way you prefer to roll the toilet paper...why not discuss what brand you prefer and why?

Charmin rocks...just because. It's a little more expensive but I think the roll lasts longer and it's just a whole lot better than the other stuff, IMHO...heh.

I could care less the brand but the wife has a preference so I just let her buy it cause I'll show up home with what ever was on sale or cheapest.

Around colleges people steal it from college buildings, although you might as well wipe with sandpaper at that point!

Charmin is too linty. And we all know what that leads to.

LOL...I only did that twice when I lived in the dorm but had my own private bathroom. Once, I was desperate because I was out of toilet paper and I didn't have time to go to Kroger so I stole some from the hall bathroom on the next floor, the next time, it was 2 days before move-out day and I didn't want to buy a whole new pack just for 2 days. It was like sandpaper though...damn. When I was a freshman, a friend of mine who was in the student government association started a bill in SGA for 2-ply toilet paper on campus...it didn't pass though.

Whatever the wife buys works for me.However on a side note (no hijack intended) I've found that with the "quilted" types, the texture created on the reverse side (where the pattern is extruded rather than indented) "works" better than the softer, smoother front.

Yep, I hear ya. I may as well wipe with loose leaf notebook paper, it's just as soft. I'm not a big fan of ultra-soft toilet paper, but comeon already!!
