horrible vendor

Post by mcgusto82 »

guys and girls. NEVER BUY FROM S&J USED AUTO PARTS.let me tell you why. i purchased a used nav sys from them on jun 2nd.they carged me 400$ and toll me that they had, and it would take some time to get out of the current vihicle. after the 1st week, i got a little antsy. called and talk to the guy who sold it to me. apparently no one else could give me any info whatso ever of my purchase. this is after about almost 2 weeks. then steve tells me that the originbal part they had, while being tested did not pass. so he says... ok, i will locate one and call you back. a week later i got ahold of hime and tells me it's in connecticut and will be overnight shipped tomorrow. after the 4th of july holiday, i called and talk to the manager after the guys at tracking had nothing for me. he says.. ohh ok, i will get to th bottom of this. 3 hours later, he calls and tells me that the part they were trying to sell me was the regular radio + changer and such. they never had the navigation system. now on top of that. their refund "lady" only works 2 days out of the week. and guess waht... i have to wait till wednesday to get my money back. i really wish i could have them arrested or something. that is just robbery. but again... DO NOT BUY FROM S&J USED AUTO PARTS. i got them from CAR-PARTS.COM i complained to them, but no response yet.

Yeah - no joke. What are you waiting for? Call your C/C company NOW and tell them you've been screwed over by this company for $400 and you never got the item nor a refund after mulitple attempts. They'll investigate by calling them to get their side of the story - ussually it only takes one call from the C/C company to the vendor to get you a refund ASAP.If the vendor won't budge - they'll do a charge back - and yank the $400 out of their account and put it back on your card. Then you can call them up again and tell them they can give the "refund lady" the week off. What a load of crap... two days a week my (removed). I think some of us go through life hating C/C so much because we've all ran up large bills and spent months (years) paying them back... that we forget - they also work for us in cases like these. You have a lot of power when you buy something with the C/C money - they want you to be happy with what you will be paying interest on.
