Was digging through my my documents and found this pic of the vibe from last year that I don't think I ever posted. This was after I waxed it so I didn't have the bra put back on yet. This is in my front yard.
The yard isn't to bad. Probably about an acre, and there is a large wind break to mow around. Push mowing out of the question though. There's about 8 acres on the other side of the Vibe that is ours and another 12 behind our house. We don't actually own it, my in-laws own the house. But we live there until they decide to retire and move into it, or until we find a house of our own.
The back yard is actually better. You don't see as much of the pine ridge, but we have a small creek running through it with a nice flat area to picnic at. I really need to get down to it and clean the dead brush out and do some other cleanup....but the tics are so bad right now that I haven't done it.
Probably could, but you better bring your camping stuff. We don't get much rain so it would probably take a year for the grass to recover from a vibe meet.I wish there would be meet close to here though. I'd really like to go to one.Somebody should do one in Rapid City SD and then we could all depart to go gambling in Deadwood or go hang out at Mr. Rushmore.

A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory.
I need to go for a walk and collect all the golf balls I got out there now. We just had it hayed so the grass is short. The highway is probably about 275 yards from where the vibe is.If I could figure out a way to irrigate down by the creek without electricity down there I'd try to make a small putting green down there. Granted that would be to much work for my lazy (removed).

Yea it is the moon, I wish I had a better picture. It was taken with a cheap web cam that doubles as a very poor digital camera. We're getting a digital camera for my sister in-law as she's about to have a baby. I'm hoping my wife let's me use it until the baby comes so I can get good pics.
The gravel road I have to go down to get to the house is on the other side of the telephone poles you can see. And the highway and the gravel road intersect close to the very right edge of the photo. I live about 7 miles out of town.We really have only 2 neighbors that are somewhat close to us. A hermit that lives about 500 yards straight north of us and another about 150 yards NW of us. The close neighbor is an (removed). Especially because we were wanting to buy the land he built on...I think the guy that sold it regrets it as he's about a year or more behind on payments.
really nice yard, nice view to. Though I could never live in the country unless a big city was very close by... I miss having a yard. Grew up on a farm, 100 acres. now I have a 5-8 (if that) concrete balconey with half of it taken up with a doggie litter box. Yeah you read that correctly. Doggie Litter Box.

Its that or take them down stairs and outside the apartment so they can crap on the lawn which I would then have to pick up. Litter box is easier. Now if I was in the country, they would have a designated crapper spot all to themselves lol.and on topic. That was a great pic, should show some more recient?

We live in an area called the pine ridge. Some pretty good hills around with ponderosa pines everywhere. You drive 10 miles east and you start getting into the sandhills area with not many trees. It goes west quite a ways and south probably 30 miles. We're pretty much on the northern edge of it. Just prairie between us and the Black Hills.I really need to get some more recent pics, but don't have a good camera. Right now there is about 25 half ton hay bails scattered around the place.
South East North West I think this was 3 winters ago, it was after I moved back from St. Louis so I was just excited to have snow again. Not any good hills to sled on out place, but there are quite a few good ones close by.Beside we have an old 4x4 and a ski rope, who needs hills.
Actually I should say 3 springs ago. I remember it was the week after I moved back so this was the first week in May 02.EDIT: Actually I must be wrong still as the leaves are changing color down by the creek. So it must be fall. I must not of got pictures from the snow in May. Oh well.
