Engine replacement

i have had my vibe for about two yrs now and was wondering. has anyone else had to have their engine replaced??? i had mine replaced like 29 days after i bought it (new) it had 240 miles when i bought it and it threw a rod at 3,311 miles (well that was what it was when i got home) jsut wondering if i was the only one out there???

Haven't heard of an engine replacement, I know Joatmon has had his tranny replaced like 3 times now.

We did have Greenfire with his AWD Matrix that didn't take too kindly to the supercharger... One other that I recall was here which was due to maintenance shortcomings...And somebody had a car which they stuck on a number of performance parts, including but not limited to underdrive pulleys and the like, which eventually killed the oil pump. That was a very, very long time ago when I was in my gvc infancy, so I can't say for sure who it was, whether they're still with us, and what sort of Vibe it was.Mine's kinda iffy... It's not had the best track record for when it comes to strange noises that's become progressively worse... While it may never happen, if the engine did blow up it wouldn't be that big of a shock.
