Help... I broke something in Firefox.

Post by esjones »

I changed my user password today, and now cannot access the fora ("forums" for those of you in Palm Beach County) when using the Mozilla Firefox browser. It says I am logged in as esjones, but when I try to access any forum areas, it says my user name or password is incorrect. If I click "log out" it says I am logged out in the main body of the page, but in the upper right, it says I am still logged in as esjones.I am posting this from IE, which allowed me to log in with my new password.Suggestions? I really don't want to use IE for anything if I can avoid it.

My guess would be to remove the cookie the site sets and then log back in again.Tools>Options>Privacy Then go down to cookies. View the cookies and remove the forums.genvibe.com cookies.

There is an option in the My Profile area called Reset Forum Cookies that may also help in this situation. If it happens again, try it out, because I've never had to use it myself yet.
