how do u get a pic in the place where u write text

the only way i can put pics in is through attachments how can i put my pic in with the text

Click the "Insert Image" button just above the box for entering your post text. This will insert two "image tags" '[IMG][/IMG]'.Insert the link to your image between those and off you go.

As Kari pointed out in the other thread, you need to have the photo online somewhere. The eaiest way to do it is to: 1) Attach the photo to a post (you know how to do that).2) After posting, copy the link from the attachment.3) Edit your post and paste the link from the attachment into the image tags.Please remember to keep the images somewhat small when posting them inline. We have a number of users on low-speed connections who will thank you.

Here's a link to a free image editor. It will help you resize the images. You can then upload the resized image as an attachment to Genvibe or use the site Arcsvibe mentioned and relink it to your post. I removed the massive image for now.http://www.irfanview.com/
